What is the Policy on Babysitting ads?

Licensed Childcare Providers are more than welcome to post opening in their daycare. However, casual babysitting ads are no longer permitted.

LYS feels it is in the best interest of the children in the community if their parents went about finding the occasional babysitter the old fashion way---word-of-mouth and personal referrals.

If you are new to the area and do not know enough people to get a personal referral...please use sites like Sittercity to connect you to area babysitters.

Please do NOT post "want" ads looking for babysitters. Posting such ads causes confusion for new members about what can/can't be posted.

***On a personal note: I greatly appreciate people abiding by this particular policy. I don't ever want LYS to be used as a "tool" that could unknowingly put children into harm.***
